Putting my makeup and my heels on

I get so excited every time I'm going out and I'm getting all dolled up. From the beginning, the process of putting together an outfit all the way to getting ready from head to toe, I enjoy very much. I always try to incorporate either sequins and or glitter into my look, nothing says party more than this two elements. This time I wore glitter in my eyes, my ring finger and my shoes. When I don't have much time I opt for pulling my head up in a big bun, especially when I have to work late in a Saturday.

Hot cocoa bar

On January the 6th we celebrate the arrival of the Three Kings where we eat King Cake and whoever gets the small figure of baby Jesus (it can be more than one), hosts the Candelaria feast on February the 2nd. This year I wasn't lucky to get one... 

This time I decided to set up a Hot Cocoa Bar with marshmallows, cinnamon and whipped cream performing as toppings for the hot chocolate. It's so easy yet so inviting, especially since I love everything bar/buffet.

The other night my sister and I went to dinner and afterwards we were in the mood to snap some shots and just be plain silly. We had a lot of fun, mostly because that day I already felt fun with my purple glittery brows. I love how you can add a twist to your whole makeup while most of the time brows remain the same.  

Outstand

I sure did take advantage of the holiday season. I went shopping, helped my mom decorate the christmas tree, drank hot chocolate and had great food among others. What I liked the most was wrapping the presents, the movie marathons with my sister (I wish she had more days off) and just relaxed enjoying the cold weather all cozied up with my cats. So after a well deserved vacation, I'm ready to start over this year. I chose the word "outstand" to represent this year for me. I will try my best more than ever and later on be proud of it. Since this year I'm graduating I have a lot of options on my mind, hope time and circumstances let me take the best decisions.

2. He has no breed.
3. I've had him since last December, he's about to be 2 years with me! Yay!
4. My mom found it near her office, so she took him in, and he was supposed to be the "company's pet". Her boss decided to call him Minino; honestly it's not the name I would've chosen for a cat. Anyways, so after a month of being there she told me that he would be staying with us during the winter vacations, obviously I knew since the beginning that he would never go back. And it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. He's a blessing for me!
5. 2 years old in October.
6. Well this is the best part; I've had cats through all my life, so believe me I know what I'm talking about. First of all, he licks (kisses) us very often, in our hands or our cheeks, you can tell it's his way of showing us how much he loves us. Since he sleeps with us every night, at exactly 5 am he would meow until someone lets him free so he can get to his food, because exactly at this time every night he gets hungry. If he gets no response, he would knock out our cell phones from the night stand table. He usually doesn't meow very much he mostly emits a guttural sound, weird huh, but very peculiar. Whenever our bedroom door is closed and he wants to get it he would make this sound. He also knows how to open doors; he jumps and hangs from the handle until it gets open. Clever, I know. He's truly special.

8. Sleep in, play with a rope or ribbon, or chase each other.
9. Besides cat food and water of course, chicken! But he wouldn't mind popcorn, corn and even avocado to name a few, I know he surprises me all the time.
